KNITSS is a contemporary knit-first brand that believes knitwear is not only a material but a way of living. As the term “knit-first” already suggests in our name, the brand was born from knitwear, a visionary and category-leading brand that owns the category, pioneers it and moves it forward.

Since our founding in 2015, we have been exploring both the structural and expressive power of knitwear. In our tenth year, we continue our journey with a stronger voice, a more refined aesthetic and a clearer vision. We reaffirm our goal as creating pieces that feel as natural and as familiar as a “second skin.”

For us, knitwear is not a seasonal product. It is timeless; close to us and to our essence, gentle and sincere. It adapts to the body, follows personal rhythm and accompanies the wearer effortlessly from one moment of the day to the next. Lightness, breathability and natural fluidity redefine the way knitwear exists across different climates and occasions.

KNITSS approaches knitwear not as a clothing category but as a field of expertise. Each collection begins with the yarn. Carefully selected Italian yarns are developed with sensitivity and technical precision, with full respect for the integrity of the material.

With the vision of Creative Director Duygu Boz, the brand balances softness with strength, form with comfort, and clarity with emotion. The resulting aesthetic is refined yet not distant; confident yet not driven by a desire to show off.

Our design philosophy is built on longevity. We create fewer but better pieces, designs that go beyond trends and evolve together with the woman who wears them. For us, sustainability is not an added layer but the natural outcome of how we think, design and produce.

Founder & Creative Director

Duygu Boz, Founder and Creative Director of KNITSS, began her creative journey in cinema before turning to fashion. Growing up in a family rooted in textiles immersed her in fabric, craftsmanship and production processes from an early age. This early exposure shaped her strong intuition for material and form.

After studying design and fashion management between Paris, London and New York, she co-founded KNITSS with her husband in 2015. Her vision was clear: to create knitwear that feels as natural as a part of our own skin, refined, effortless and quietly confident, allowing women like herself to feel comfortable in their natural authenticity.

Today, the KNITSS design studio operates between Paris and Istanbul. This balance between the two cities is also reflected in the brand’s character: contemporary and timeless, urban yet intimate.
